On August 25, the 2023 RISC-V China Summit came to an end. During the conference, ESWIN Computing delivered two keynote speeches on automotive and security solutions on the 24th and 25th, following the keynote speeches delivered at the main forum, sharing ESWIN Computing's thoughts and achievements on RISC-V in the field of automotive and security systems.


Self-developed RISC-V architecture processors and ICs are used in automotive scenarios

Under the wave of automotive intelligence, the demand for on-board ICs such as smart automotive control, smart cockpit, and smart driving is rising, and the market is in short supply. According to the research report, 95% of China's on-board IC market is currently dependent on imports, of which the autonomy rate of computing and control chips is less than 1%.

Automotive MCUs equipped with ESWIN Computing's self-developed RISC-V processors have made breakthroughs in both software and hardware. In terms of hardware, functional safety-related R&D steps have been added to the IC design process to enhance the functional safety of CPU processors and STL functional safety libraries. At the same time, fault simulation and failure analysis are periodically carried out during the design process to verify the robustness of the safety design, and then iterate the functional safety design that meets the requirements and improve the reliability of the ICs. The automotive MCU can be widely used in automotive display control systems, smart cockpit control systems, BCM, lamp control systems, door seat control systems, and window control systems, providing customers with highly reliable and stable chip solutions.

Security is no trivial matter, and chips are the core components of various digital products, which directly affect the functional safety of the products themselves and the information security of users.
