China Future 50 Ranking of Chiptech Report released simultaneously as the list pointed out that global semiconductor sales increased by 6.8% to $450 billion in 2020, and are expected to exceed $500 billion this year. In terms of the development trend of the semiconductor industry, the report outlines three major trends, that is, “the coexistence of opportunities and challenges exists in the global semiconductor industry”, “companies give utmost attention to expansion in their development strategies”, and “5G, smart transportation, smart manufacturing and IoT are the most concerned by in the industry”.
