Job Purpose
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives at the intersection of modelling, system analysis, and hardware experimentation. You will play a key role in shaping future human–machine interface technologies through rigorous research and practical engineering.
You will be part of a team working on R&D of current and next-generation HMI technology in close relationship with system architects, IC design, firmware and system validation teams to ensure a consistent modelling–to–hardware flow. You will take ownership of experiments, from concept and simulation through to hardware validation and performance correlation.
Main Duties:
· Support the research, development and definition of mixed signal front end components using simulations or prototypes
· Perform analysis, high level modelling and simulations
· Support implementation, integration, and validation of algorithms

· Proven experience in high-level modelling and simulation of complex systems
· Depth of knowledge in Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
· Solid understanding of ASIC design, mixed-signal systems, and related analysis tools
· Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion) and familiar with Agile development methods
· Proactive, curious, and collaborative, with a passion for sharing knowledge and learning from others across all levels
· Proficient in two or more of: MATLAB, Simulink, Python
· Willingness to travel for collaborative research or project work
The essential requirements:
· MSc or PhD in electronics engineering or signal processing-related subjects
· BEng or MEng in Engineering, Electronics or related subjects (upper second class or equivalent)
· 5+ years post-graduate experience in engineering.
Desirable but not essential
